Millet Balls

Шпагети со маслиново масло и зачини / Spiced Spaghetti with Olive Oil

Наједноставните јадења некогаш се најубави. Нема многу состојки и се чувствуваат сите вкусови, секоја состојка доаѓа до израз. Маслиновото масло и лукчето едноставно се сакаат. Зачините ја надополнуваат забавата. Ова е моја верзија на италијанските Aglio e Olio. Тие ги прават само со маслиново масло, лукче и црвена пипер. Јас додадов и малку босилек, оригано и црн пипер. Пробајте, па направете си ја вашата омилена верзија.

Спанаќ со крем сирење / Creamy Spinach
Кога ќе го пробав рецептов, прва мисла ми беше тоа дека вредеше миењето на спанаќот. Превкусен додадок за секое јадење. Лесно се прави и реално не може да се погреши. Спанаќ секогаш оди убаво со млечни производи, а оревите така добро се влопија што самаta си честитав.
Состојки:
- 2 лажици маслиново масло
- една голема главица кромид, исечена на полумесечини
- 125 мл пилешка супа или супа од зеленчук од коцка
- 300 грама спанаќ
- 50 грама крем сирење
- 5-6 ореви (толчени)
Загрејте го маслото на умерена температура, во голема тава. Додадете го кромидот и пржете 5 минути. Додадете ја супата и и варете една минута.
Ставете го исецканиот спанаќ и се убаво пропржете додека не овене спанаќот, околу 3-4 минути. Сега ставете го и сирењето и измешајте убаво да се соедини.
Тргнете го од оган и додатете ги оревите и убаво измешајте.
Прекрасен додаток е за со месо, но и самото е доволен оброк.

CREAMY SPINACH
This recipe is worth washing the spinach. A delicious side dish that goes perfectly with meat, but it's great on its own too. The spinach goes well with cheese, but the walnuts added some magic to the whole combination.
You need:
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 big onion cut in half rings
- 125 ml (3/4 cup) chicken or vegetable stock, form cubes
- 300 grams spinach (10oz)
- 50 grams cream cheese (1,8 oz)
- 5-6 walnuts
Heat the oil in a bigger pan, on medium heat. Add the onion and fry for 5 minutes, until the onion is golden brown. Add the soup and boil everything for 5 minutes. Add the spinach and cook everything for 5 more minutes. Add the cheese and combine all the ingredients well.
Remove from heat and add the walnuts (cut in small pieces).
Enjoy!

Cherry Tomato Bruschetta
I love this time of the year when our gardens are full of tasty tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers. A salad made of fresh homegrown vegetables is the best meal in summer. We have cherry tomatoes in our garden so I wanted to make something simple and tasty, and that's how this recipe came out. Tomatoes and olive oil, you cannot make a mistake with them. This bruschetta is a real treat for your taste buds. You can serve it as a starter, appetizer or even as a main meal if you prefer light food during the summer, as I do.

Шпагети со сос од брокула / Spaghetti with Broccoli Sauce
Едно од моите омилени посни јадења. Не можете ни да замислите колку е вкусна брокулата во комбинација со сусам и босилек. Лесно со за правење и е многу поздрава верзија на сите други сосови кои ги правите. Превкусно е. Се прави брзо, а е здрав и вкусен оброк.
Состојки:
- 1 пакетче шпагети (500 грама)
- 500 грама брокула
- 1 кромид
- 2 чешниња лук
- 100 грама сусам
- маслиново масло
- сушен босилек
- сол
Сварете ги шпагетите на вообичаениот начин.
За сосот, варете ја брокулата во солена вода околу 5 минути и исцедете ја водата. Ставете малку масло во тава за пржење и пропржете го кромидот и лукот. Додатете ја брокулата и малку од водата во која се вареше брокулата. Тргнете го тавчето од шпоретот и додадете босилек и сусам. После десет минути, кога ќе е малку оладено, ставете ја брокулата во блендер се додека не стане кремаста.
Ставете од сосот врз шпагетите. Добар апетит!
This pasta sauce is absolutely delicious. My favorite non dairy pasta sauce. It's almost as if it has cheese in it. Tasty and light. And so aromatic, with basil and sesame and garlic. Perfect combination of tastes.
Ingredients:
- 1 package spaghetti (500 grams)
- 500 grams (17 oz ) broccoli
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100 grams (1/2 cup) sesame
- olive oil
- some basil
- some salt
Cook the spaghetti the usual way and set aside.
Start preparing the sauce. Boil the broccoli in salted water for about 5 minutes and drain the water. Put some oil in a frying pan and fry the thin sliced onion and garlic. Add the sliced broccoli and some of the water in which the broccoli was boiled. Remove the pan from the heat and add the basil and sesame. After 10 minutes, when it is cooled, put the mixture in a blender and blend it well until the texture is creamy.
Add some of the sauce on top of the spaghetti, and enjoy your delicious pasta.

Tortilla with Cherry Tomatoes
A version of the Spanish egg and potato tortilla. This one is without potatoes, so it's lighter. If you ask me, this is the perfect breakfast. It turns out perfect every time I make it. Sometimes I add some basil, sometimes some parmesan. Either way it's tasty.
Chicken Soup
I love soups, and my favorite is chicken soup. This is an easy recipe, perfect for these winter days. When I come home I love to have a big bowl of warm soup. Yeah, this is my "welcome home" soup :)

Homemade Whole Wheat Bagels
Bagels are my favorite breakfast. With some cheese, tea or jam. This is the first time I'm making them at home. And I made a healthy version using whole wheat flour and some flax seed. They are tasty and crunchy and not to mention that perfect baking smell in the house.

Stale-Bread Pizza
I don't like throwing bread away . Even when it's very old I take it to the balcony so the birds can eat it. This is a great recipe for when you have some bread that is a couple of days old, and, of course, for when you don't feel like making the pizza dough and still would like some pizza taste :)

Cheese Muffins
The original recipe wasn't made in muffin pan, but I love muffins so much that I made a change. These muffins are so delicious that after I tried them, they are now part of our regular cooking. With basil and cheese they are perfect for breakfast or dinner, or any part of the day :)

Piroshky Made of Crepes
This is a recipe from the Russian cuisine. It can be served as a starter or (as I like it) as a delicious breakfast. Is there any better way to start the day than with these warm cheesy pies. I made some changes to the recipe. For example I added some basil in the cheese and some Parmesan in the eggs. In time you will come up with you own favorite version. Anyway they are tasty and very easy to make.

Pumpkin Soup
I am especially proud of my pumpkin soup. Everyone at home liked it. I think I'm going to have to make it very often now. It's very easy to make, but it tastes like you had spent all day in the kitchen.
