This is the way you are going to cook chicken from now on, believe me. Tasty chicken meat in combination with some sausages and spices. So fragrant, tender and delicious.
Ingredients:
- one chicken
- 100 grams (3,5 oz) stale bread
- 50 ml (1/4 cup) milk
- 3 smaller onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100 grams (3,5 oz) smoked sausages
- 3 tablespoons ground walnuts
- some fresh parsley
- 200 ml (1 cup) white wine
- 1 egg
- some oil
- 3-4 tablespoons melted butter
- salt, pepper
- 3 bigger potatoes
Heat the oven to 200C (392 F).
Put the bread in a food processor so you have crumbs. Pour the milk in a bowl and add the bread to the milk.
Mix the salt and pepper and cover the chicken with the mixture.
Slice the onion and the garlic. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic for about 10 minutes.
Cut the sausages in circles.
Put the pan with the onion and the garlic aside and add the bread, walnuts, sausages, parsley (finely chopped) and the egg. Mix everything well.
Fill the chicken with this mixture and close the opening with toothpicks. Tie the chicken legs and chicken wings with some string.
Put the chicken in a baking pan which you have previously oiled, and pour the melted butter over the chicken.
Put the baking pan in the oven and roast it for about an hour. Pour some wine over it from time to time, and also pour some of the liquid from the chicken in the pan.
After about half an hour, peel the potatoes, cut them in pieces and put them in the baking pan around the chicken.
Bake until the chicken is golden brown and the potatoes are baked.
Enjoy your amazing meal!
