Cheesy Bread

cheesy bread

Cheesy, soft and delicious. It looks nice too, so you can prepare it when you have guests for dinner. It's very easy to make. Still, you can boast that you have put much effort in it  :)

Ingredients:
  • 200 ml milk (1 cup)
  • 3 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1 kg flour (4 cups)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups butter
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 300 grams white cheese (1 1/5 cup)
Warm the milk and add the yeast. Set aside for 5 minutes. Put the flour in a bowl, add the milk, 3 eggs, the oil and the salt. Knead it well until you have a non-stocking, soft dough.
Divide the dough in three parts. Flatten each part with a rolling pin into 1 cm thickness.
Put one third of the butter and one third of the cheese onto one part of the dough. Do the same with the other two parts of the dough. Put the three parts of the dough on top of each other, and roll them into a roulade. Take the roulade and cut it in 8 parts. Place them in a buttered pan and top them with one beaten egg. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees celsius (392 F).
